Uncle Daniel comes home!

Brandon got to meet his Uncle Daniel for the first time in person- for the last 6 months they have only seen each other over Skype. Brandon was really excited to meet him and liked to stare at him while he was talking. Our trip was very short but we had such a good time with Uncle Daniel. We hope to see him soon and are glad that he made it home safely!

First Swim Class

Brandon has started swim class on Wednesdays for 30 min:) His goal for now is to start to like the water, enjoy class and eventually go under! Daddy went in the water with him the first class and overall he did well. He wasn't so sure about all the loud noise but he likes the water. He held on to daddy a lot but we were very proud of him.

NCAA Wrestling Nationals

Brandon, Mommy and Grandpa
Me and Uncle Joe
Mommy and Brandon
Brandon went to his very first wrestling tournament- and it was the NCAA Nationals in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center. Uncle Pat got us tickets and we all had a great time! He also got to meet Uncle Joe too:) However once inside Brandon wasn't so excited about all the loud screaming. The National Anthem kicked started the whole night- and I must say he was good all the way through until the end where he ended the song with a LOUD scream! To sum up the night he went through two outfits after having two blow outs, threw up on mommy and one of my blow ups ended up on the floor! It was hard watching the wrestling because every cheer from the crowd scared Brandon so mommy or Nana had to run out of the arena with him.
The wrestling was spectacular and we got to watch the young wrestler from ASU who was born with one leg make it to the finals- which he later won. It was definately a sports moment that will be remembered for a long time. We had a great time in Philly and we think the next wrestling match might not be for a while- lol.

It's Me First St. Patricks Day!

All dressed up in my green bow tie and green/orange socks- I'm the cutest little Leprechaun around!! Hope everyone had a lucky day:)

Curious Boy

Brandon is almost 5 months old and seems to be growing by the day. 17lbs 10oz just the other day and it's probably because he is an eating machine! He is a very curious boy and will twist his entire body to see who is talking in the room. He also loves to put everything in his mouth and is really interested in his foot for right now. He is also very ticklish- and we must say- his laugh is the cutest. We recently bought sunglasses for the jogs outside and for the summer and he loves them (well he doesn't rip them off- so we think he likes them).

Great Wolf Lodge & Valentines Day

Last weekend (Feb.11-13) Brandon went on his very first vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. It was an indoor waterpark and we all had a lot of fun! We went with Grandma, Papa, Uncle Derek, Auntie Becca, Uncle Jarred and cousin Brooke. Since Brandon was too little to enjoy most of park- we were able to bring him around on a float around the lazy river. He enjoyed that for the most part except when a bucket of water was splashed onto his head- we think he was just scared! However, the sound of the water was very soothing and he was really relaxed while in the waterpark. We will go again soon when he is bigger so he can enjoy more of it.

He also had his 4 month check up and is doing great! 16lbs and 25.5 inches long- he is a growing boy! And introducing some real food soon- he has really enjoyed oatmeal recently and we'll introduce veggies and fruits soon!

Likes to stand & Eat rice cereal

So we have introduced cereal to Brandon and he loves it! Last night Nana fed it to him and he ate all of it:) Also last week we went to Jocelyn's baby shower- she is due in April with a little boy- so needless to say Brandon will have a little buddy! We dressed him up in a polo shirt and he looked sooo handsome! He also loves to pull up and stand on his little legs.... I guess we knew he would be short and unusually strong- haha. He can also roll both ways- of course Jan 4 he rolled the hard way first (back to belly) and he just figured out the easy way on Feb 4- exactly one month apart! He also LOVES to rub his feet together which is definately a Walker trait- Josh and Jarred love rubbing their feet and so does Brandon.
