Sea Isle, NJ Beach Trip August 5-7

Mommy's college friend Jennifer invited us to come visit them at her parents beach house in Sea Isle, NJ for the weekend! I enjoyed hanging with mommys college friend Heather, Jen's husband Michael, Jen's parents, Jen's brother Greg and his girlfriend Sarah! They welcomed us to Sea Isle and Avalon where I had a great time visiting with them and getting to know mommys friends! Our journey to the beach began on Friday where we hit lots of traffic and we very glad to finally be at the beach when the sun was setting! We met up with Heather where we enjoyed the last few minutes of fantastic beach weather and I got to crawl around on the sand! Saturday I spent a full 5 hours on the beach where I giggled when the ocean waves hit my feet, splashing around in my baby pool and spent a good hour and half napping on Heather! The wind was blowing and the water was perfect which made for a fantastic day at the beach! I spent the evening before bed with Jen's parents while mommy and daddy went out to Happy Hour with their friends! I had such a great time at the Jersey Shore..... next time I need to get some GTL in and I'll fit right in:) (jk!) We are looking forward to next year already but I'm sure I'll be much more busy!

First Beach Trip- OBX

Hanging out in the house
At the beach
Brandon had his very first trip to the beach- Outer Banks in Nags Head North Carolina:) We spent an entire week there and it was very relaxing and full of fun! Our friends the Mayes Family and Peters Family shared the same house. Our week consisted of heading out to the beach at some point in the mid-morning where we only stayed for about 3 hours. Brandon and his friend Trent mainly napped down at the beach so mommy and daddy could have some "cold beverages." The water was pretty chilly the first couple days but it warmed up towards the end. The afternoon was spent by the pool- Brandon enjoyed splashing around in his little float. A new thing has emerged as well- Brandon now has a slight head butt and did this multiple times to his friend Trent (we say thanks daddy for teaching him this)- we currently say it's just a sign of love:) The beach was full of great weather, food, memories and most of all awesome company:) We are definately looking forward to next years trip!

First Time at the Lake

It sure is relaxing at the lake- I'll just kick my feet up and chill
Me and my sweet hair do!
I loved the sand:)
Daddy and me hanging out
I could get use to this!
In the lake with Daddy and Grandpa!

This past weekend was full of sunshine and lots of fun at the lake. Brandon loved all of it... the sand, the water and the boat (the magic nap machine- haha) Whenever Brandon started to fight sleep we put him on the boat and out he went:) Swim lessons are paying off because Brandon sure does like the water- he sat in his float and also went swimming with daddy and mommy. Grandma and Grandpa kicked off the summer with the first bbq and all the food was delicious. We are looking forward to many trips to Lake Anna this summer!

NCAA Wrestling Nationals

Brandon, Mommy and Grandpa
Me and Uncle Joe
Mommy and Brandon
Brandon went to his very first wrestling tournament- and it was the NCAA Nationals in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center. Uncle Pat got us tickets and we all had a great time! He also got to meet Uncle Joe too:) However once inside Brandon wasn't so excited about all the loud screaming. The National Anthem kicked started the whole night- and I must say he was good all the way through until the end where he ended the song with a LOUD scream! To sum up the night he went through two outfits after having two blow outs, threw up on mommy and one of my blow ups ended up on the floor! It was hard watching the wrestling because every cheer from the crowd scared Brandon so mommy or Nana had to run out of the arena with him.
The wrestling was spectacular and we got to watch the young wrestler from ASU who was born with one leg make it to the finals- which he later won. It was definately a sports moment that will be remembered for a long time. We had a great time in Philly and we think the next wrestling match might not be for a while- lol.
