Tucker is 4 Months Old

Tucker is 4 months old and seems to change everyday. He is smiling, laughing and making noises.... it's just so precious. We have had quite the challenge with finding the right formula... long story short... we are on soy formula. It seems to have worked with his belly issues but now I find that he is constipated more often. (if it's not one thing it's another!) He isn't sleeping through the night yet but he has had this ongoing cough for about 4 weeks now and he seems to have a coughing fit right around 3:30AM (awesome right?) but usually will fall back asleep with a pacifier. We have started to put our little guy in the crib on his back... even though he prefers his belly, we are following the rules!

We love our little guy so much! We just need to freeze time.

4 Month Well Check- 14lbs and 23.5 inches long. (50% for weight and 25% of height)

PS Thanks Auntie Kim and Uncle Joel for the Red Sox Gear:)

Easter

Well I tried all day to get a nice picture of both boys all dressed up.... but it never happened. Either one wasn't happy or the other was napping when the other was happy.....Of course!!! I did get some good ones though. We had a few Easter Eggs Hunts and had Easter Dinner at Uncle Lyle and Aunt Ginny's. It was delicious and we had a great time hanging with family. Brandon's meals consisted mainly of chocolate and candy yesterday....
We found Tucks basket!

Can I hold him (Tucker)

Brandon has become obsessed with holding Tucker and will even ask "Can I hold him please?" How can you say no to that? It's the cutest thing:)

Potty Training

Sooooo Brandon is getting closer to being potty trained!!! This past weekend when we were home we had 1 accident in total! He can successfully go #1 in the potty:) He will even let us know when he needs to go...... and then after he goes he is super excited and says "I peed in the pot!"! We wash our hands and high five as our celebration.

This didn't just happen over night so here is a little back story:

Starting back when he turned 2 in October, he seemed so interested in the bathroom process so we decided to buy a mini toilet and a seat for the regular toilet. (Basically anything you could find for potty training) Well that interest lasted about 1 day.... Even though we kept encouraging Brandon to go to the bathroom on the potty he kept saying "no" then it turned into "NO, I don't want to!" So when I was on maternity leave for Tucker I decided that I would revisit potty training. I kept him naked all morning and that basically turned into a meltdown every time I tried to sit him on the potty. (I tried this 3 seperate times) The end result was him running up to me with a diaper saying "I want this on." So once again I decided that it's not the right time and would revisit when he was ready. So recently we have made some progress......Wednesdays at Grandma's he has been peeing in the potty a couple times so we decided that this past weekend we would go full out with underwear. Finally.... we have had progress!!

Obviously he isn't fully potty trained, but we are getting somewhere:) YAY!!! Cheers to less amount of diapers soon (i hope)

Tucker's Baptism

Tucker was baptised March 9 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Gainesville, VA. It is the same church Brandon was baptized at. Tucker's god parents are Auntie Kendell and Uncle Jarred. We had a wonderful celebration with some family and friends! We truely are blessed to have such great people in our lives.
