Watching Daddy Run the 37th Annual Marine Core Marathon

Oct. 28, 2012- marked Daddy's 2nd marathon and we all went down to DC to cheer him on! Hurricane Sandy held off, so the weather wasn't too bad (minus the wind). We had a great time walking around DC to catch Daddy at miles 10, 16, 20 and the finish line! The cheering section walked about 6-7 miles, which mommy (8.5 months pregnant) at the end of the day was very tired. We are very proud of Daddy:)

2 Years Old

Brandon had his 2 year old well check and according to the doctor he is perfect. (like we didn't know that already:)) He weighs in at 28.5 lbs (60%) and its 33.5 inches tall (40%). Developmentally he is doing awesome as well. Sentences are coming together, we are working on potty training (not sure if he is totally ready yet) and boy does he LOVE going outside to walk or run!
Below are some more pictures I just got from our photo session in Sept:) We are anxiously waiting for baby brother Tucker to arrive in 7 weeks!

Brandon's 2nd Birthday

We can't believe that 2 years has already gone by, it seems like just yesterday we were blessed with our little man Brandon, yet it feels like he has always been a part of our lives. Brandon sure is a fun loving little boy and is very loved. It seems like our little baby has turned into a toddler too fast! Brandon loves playing outside, is very determined and is a little boy who know what he wants. A matter a fact, he will repeat "I want gosch, please" and will continue until you figure out what "gosch" is, which we know now as "chocolate". So he thinks whenever he says please at the end of a sentence he gets what he wants...... smart boy. He also is in the stage of wanting to go home. We will be at a friends house and he will say "I want to go home, please." It really is cute and I love that he likes to be home.

We are so lucky to have such great family and friends to celebrate his 2nd birthday with:) Since Brandon loves Buzz, we decided use Toy Story as the theme. My mom and I made the Buzz Cake which I must say was time consuming but def worth it. We had about 30 adults and 10 of Brandon's cousins & friends over for some pizza, wings, cake and some fun on the moonbounce. Brandon received a lot of very nice gifts and some much needed $$ for his college savings account. We want to thank everyone for coming to our house to celebrate, we had a blast. He is one lucky boy!
