Brandon and Mommy
We had another successful Christmas this year surrounded by family and friends! Our house is being taken over by Brandon's new toys- but we don't mind. Santa was very good to him and so were all his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc! Brandon received a Little Tikes Tricycle, Slide, Lego Table, Red Sox Table, Train Table, Work Bench, Sit and Spin, Stool, Grill, lots of clothes to include a tux and so much more:) We are so thankful to have such a great family and the best gift was just hanging out with everyone!

Christmas Pictures/14 Months Old

So we decided to get Brandon's picture taken since we haven't gotten one done in a while.... well obviously we take lots of pictures but professional ones that come with lots of prints. Let's just say it was quite challenging to get him to sit still!! I'm surprised we got as many good pictures as we did. Brandon turned 14 months about a week ago and it's like he has turned into a little toddler overnight. He loves to turn around, try and jump, get toys/books and bring them to you, climb up and now down the stairs (except he likes to try and go up like a big boy) he points at things that he wants and then gets upset if he doesn't get what he wants. He now brings the kitchen chairs over to the fridge, climbs up and hits the water dispenser. It is crazy how fast children understand things, we really show Brandon once how to do something and he can pretty much do it the next time! We are very excited for Christmas to come in about 10 days! Brandon really loves the Christmas Tree and all the lights. He makes sure we go turn it on every morning once he gets up. He has been pretty good with the ornaments- but there is no chance of any present staying wrapped under the tree.... ha!

haha love this look
We wanted to get some good family photos out at Grandpa and Nana's house in Front Royal. The weather was great but Brandon was too focused on the dogs..... needless to say it wasn't very successful! Oh well, guess it's just going to get harder to take photos of our little man. Brandon was hilarious with the dogs... he didn't want to get too close but was very interested in the dogs. He would stand from a distance, point and say "dog" (he did this about 100 times) Rugger, Murphy and Uncle Daniel's dog Tank were very good with Brandon- they just thought of him as a toy at times- lol.

First time on the 4 Wheeler

Brandon riding on the 4 wheeler
Over the past 5 years we have made a tradition to go to Uncle Lyle's Cabin in Rockingham County, VA after Thanksgiving. It is a time for some R&R and some outside time to enjoy the gorgeous views. This year we were able to fish in the ponds that Uncle Lyle created. Uncle Derek and Daddy must of caught 50 fish- but don't worry we threw them back. This was Brandon's 2nd time to the cabin and definitely got to explore a lot more than he did last year...... maybe because he wasn't even 2 months old! The weather is usually freezing but to our surprise this year it was in the high 50's - 60's during the day, lets just say we weren't prepared for that kind of weather. Brandon also experienced his first ride on the 4 wheeler, he was excited at first but then cried at the end- at least he tried it! Once again we had a great time being outside and enjoying time with the family. Thanks to Uncle Lyle and Aunt Ginny for another great experience at the cabin!
