Easter Day

Easter was spent over at Grandma and Papa's house:) We ate a delicious meal and hung out. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside for a bit.

Easter Pictures

So mommy and Brandon decided to try some Easter pictures on our own:) He did pretty good- but at some points I think he didn't look at me on purpose- ahaha. He is also in the stage where EVERYTHING goes in the mouth- and of course so did the Easter basket! Anyways we hope everyone has a wonderful Easter- we will take more pictures when the Easter Bunny arrives!

5th Swim Class April 21

Brandon had his 5th swim class and he is doing sooooo good. Daddy went in the water with Brandon this time and they worked on floating this class. And of course Brandon was a good floater! Daddy just held his head and and he kept the rest of his body floating.... which is what the instructor looks for. He is able to go UNDER water for about 2 seconds now- he keeps his mouth closed when he is under- smart boy:) Now that he is more comfortable in the class- he splashs around more- he is still the youngest in the class (they start at 6 months old) but he is progressing fast! We can't wait for lake season and to see how he does there!

Happy 1/2 birthday to our little man! We can't believe that he is 6 months old already!! We went today for his check up and he got his last round of shots for a while- thank goodness. He is 18lbs. 3oz and 27 inches long- and the doctor said that he is doing GREAT. He has hit all of his milestones that she asked about so that was good to hear.

Brandon loves rolling around to get where he wants to be since he doesn't crawl yet. Currently he is putting all his weight on his belly and flapping his arms and legs around.... he is trying to get somewhere fast but going no where- haha. I'm sure that will change soon and the moving element will definately be a big change. He also LOVES his jumper- he is crazy in that thing!!

We are loving every minute with our little man. He is growing and changing so fast, we are just trying to keep up! No teeth yet- but I'm thinking anytime now...... we'll see!

2nd Swim Class

Brandon enjoyed his swim class more this week. He is definately getting used to the water and wasn't holding on so tight. This time mommy went in the water with him and we worked on a few things. With learning it's all about repetition, repetition!! We worked on kicking, sitting on the side of the pool and coming in on our command. He also went UNDER the water! The teacher suggested this since he was in a good mood the whole class. To our surprise.... he didn't cry at all. He was a little startled but did really well. til next swim class....
